Margaret F. Reider

Margaret Frances (Hill) Reider, 81, of Ruscombmanor Township, and formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died December 26, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

She was married June 12, 1948 to the late Edward Reed Reider, who died May 26, 2002.

Born May 9, 1927 in Leesport, she was a daughter of the late Fred D. and Bessie M. (Blackwell) Hill.

She was a Reading High School graduate.

Margaret was employed 8 years as a salesperson with WT Grant and later employed 8 years as a waitress with St. Lawrence Restaurant, retiring in October 1971.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Margaret is survived by two daughters: Melissa A. (Reider), wife of Dean A. Yeager of Muhlenberg Township and Sandra L. Yerger of Shillington.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Margaret was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda J. Reider, who died November 29, 1997.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. Grant A. Wickert officiating.
