Margaret A. Reger

Margaret A. Reger, 86, of Wernersville, passed away June 5, 2013 in Phoebe Berks.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Willy L. and Emily B. (Pasche) Reger.

Margaret was employed in the financial services industry prior to retirement and retired from Bank of Pennsylvania, now M&T Bank.

She had an infectious smile and was quick to share the smile and some humor with everyone.

Margaret loved to travel. Her travels included trips to Germany and many states in the U.S. Her favorite place was Hawaii.

She also loved animals, especially cats and had names for each one. She made sure that the birds were well fed all year round.

Margaret is survived by her cousin, Elefrede Ganow, CO and several cousins in Germany.

She was predeceased by her brother, William A.W. Reger in 2011.

Margaret's cousins would like to have Margaret remembered as a kind, loving and caring person. They were very grateful to Margaret for the wonderful and much needed care packages that she sent to them in Germany during and after the war.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery.
