Margaret Rambo

Margaret Rambo, 90, Wyomissing, formerly of West Lawn, died Aug. 8 at 8:40 a.m. in her residence.

Her husband, Bruce H. Rambo, died Jan. 7, 1984.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Brophy) Nowotarski.

Rambo had been employed as a seamer and parachute maker during World War II by Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, last working in 1945.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Rambo is survived by a son, Glenn D., Wyomissing.

Other survivors include two sisters, Anna (Nowotarski) Hill, Stony Creek Mills, and Loretta (Nowotarski) Chapman, Farmington, Maine.

There are also two grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
