Margaret A. Pisanick

Margaret Anna "Peggy" (McDonough) Pisanick, 76, died December 9, 2008 at 11:29 pm in her Reading residence.

She was married March 4, 1950 to Cyril Pisanick, of Reading.

Born in St. Joseph Medical Center on August 29, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Joseph McDonough and Margaret Ellen (McCloy) McDonough.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Peggy was employed a number of years as an office clerk with Berkshire Knitting Mills and later as a bank teller with American Bank, Reading.

She is also survived by two children: Denise M., wife of Kenneth P. Smith of Doylestown and Cyril J., husband of Teresa A. (Shepherd) Pisanick of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two sisters: Mary C., wife of Frederick Spangler of Shillington and Ferne, wife of Mick Dornes of Birdsboro.

There is also a grandson surviving; Matthew P. Smith of Norristown.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. John's R.C. Church, Kerrick Road and Holland Street, Shillington. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading.
