Margaret M. Pavluchuk

Margaret Mary (Hampsey) Pavluchuk, 90, died August 19, 2012 in her Laureldale residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was the wife of Joseph Pavluchuk who died in 1977. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph F. Satoski who died in 1944.

Born November 29, 1921 in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late George and Martha (Cook) Hampsey.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Paul's High School, Scranton.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angel's Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park, where she was a member of their Prime Time Club.

Margaret enjoyed going to casinos.

Her passion was spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her two children: Sister Margaret Pavluchuk of Reading and Michael J. Pavluchuk of Laureldale.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by two sibings: George Hampsey and Marcella Hampsey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 8:30 until the time of mass in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
