Margaret M. Mclaughlin

Margaret "Peg" M. McLaughlin, 92, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, in her Spring Township residence.

Born in Port Carbon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Leeser) O'Toole.

Peg was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

She was employed as a secretary for 15 years at Catholic Social Agency, retiring in October, 2000.

Peg lived for her family.

She is survived by a son: James, husband of Barbara McLaughlin, Sinking Spring; and a daughter, Kathleen M. Evans, Lewisburg, PA. Three grandsons: Dan, Michael and Matt; and two great grandsons; Laszlo and Killian also survive her.

Peg was predeceased by a son; Richard J. McLaughlin, and two brothers, Thomas J. O'Toole and Joseph O'Toole.

A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S.
