Margaret M. (Dehart) Troutman, 94, formerly of Laureldale, died July 23, 2011 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.
She was the wife of John T. Troutman who died in 1959.
Born April 3, 1917 in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late David F. and Clara L. (Eben) Dehart.
She was employed as a secretary with Shirley Thomas School of Dance, Reading, for 15 years. Subsequently, she was employed at Western Electric Union Office, Laureldale, in the same capacity, until her retirement.
Margaret was an avid bowler and won many trophies and awards. She also enjoyed trips to the casinos, bingo and playing cards with her family and friends.
She loved her family and gave them much support during her lifetime.
Surviving are two children: James T., husband of Dolores Troutman of Lower Heidelberg Township and Joann T. (Troutman), wife of Garrett E. Hyneman of Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include three grandchildren: Ashley Hyneman, Garrett John Hyneman, Deborah Fernsler and four great grandchildren: Garrett Hyneman, Edith Hyneman, Austin Fernsler and Azure Fernsler.
Margaret was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Dehart and Harold Dehart and two sisters, Blanche M. Weller and Caroline E. Ream.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
