Margaret M. Molets

Margaret M. Molets, 87, of Monroe Street, Hyde Park, died May 30 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband, John J. Molets, died July 16, 2002.

Born in Lansford, Carbon County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Hirchak) Hydock.

Molets had been employed as a registered nurse by several area hospitals, last working 25 years at Community General Hospital until her retirement in 1980.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park, serving as president of the seniors group.

Molets was a 1935 graduate of Lansford High School and a 1938 graduate of the Ashland School of Nursing, Schuylkill County.

She was a volunteer for many years at ManorCare Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township.

Molets is survived by a daughter, Margaret A. Molets, Muhlenberg Township, and a son, John G., Colony Park.

There is also one granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
