Margaret Alice Kopetsky

Margaret Alice Kopetsky, 81, of Temple, died December 20, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Leonard C. Kopetsky who died on March 31, 1980

Born December 11, 1933 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Peter J. and Wilhelmina L. (Morningwake) Clark.

Alice was a 1951 graduate of Shamokin High School.

She was employed as an administrative assistant with Muhlenberg School District for over 20 years, retiring in 1997.

Alice was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alice loved baseball and always enjoyed following her children and grandchildren when they played.

Surviving is her daughter, Deborah A. Kopetsky of Muhlenberg Township and her two sons, Leonard C., husband of Michele A. Kopetsky of Temple and Brian J., husband of Stephanie L. Kopetsky of Muhlenberg Township.

Also surviving is her brother George C. Clark of Danville and her sister Harriett A. Clark of Laureldale.

Other survivors include her five grandchildren: Jennifer L. Ermler, Aaron C., husband of Laura E. Kopetsky, Amanda M. Kopetsky, Sarah E. Kopetsky and Jared L. Kopetsky and her great granddaughter, Victoria A. Kopetsky.

Alice was predeceased by her sister Jacqueline W. Clark.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Kuhn–Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale PA 19605. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
