Margaret I. Wills

Margaret I. (Sherman) Wills, 100, formerly of West Reading, died November 15, 2012, in Cornwall Manor.

Her husband, Gerald K. Wills, died June 15, 1999.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Henry W. and Gertrude M. (Ganster) Sherman.

She was a 1933 graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College.

Margaret was employed for 21 years as an elementary school teacher for Mt. Penn School District, retiring in 1974.

She was a member of Cornwall United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two children, Thomas G., husband of Pamela Wills, Louisville, KY and Barbara J. Wills, Lebanon; her sister, Ruth, widow of Richard Wolfe, Mt. Penn; two grandchildren, Abby, wife of Steven Yelton and Jennifer Wills and two great-grandchildren, Will Yelton and Holly Yelton.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2012 from 11 to noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Graveside Services will be in Laureldale Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Memorial Services will also be Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Cornwall Manor Zerr Chapel.
