Margaret E. Hubler

Margaret E. (Driesbach) Hubler, 97 of Douglassville, died June 2, 2010 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Clarence A. Hubler died in 1991.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was a daughter of the late Mahlon and Vallie (Bressler) Driesbach.

She was employed as a machine operator for Auburn Knitting Mills and Sweet Orr and Royersford Baby Grow.

In 1948 Margaret became a member of the Eastern Star. She currently holds the title as the oldest past officer.

She also was a 50 year member of the White Shrine.

Margaret is survived by her brother, T. Stanley, husband of Helen Driesbach, Shoemakersville and her sister, Clara, widow of Joseph Brommer, Orwigsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Schuylkill Haven Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
