Margaret Mae Hinnershitz

Margaret Mae Hinnershitz, 92, formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Laurel Center in Hamburg. She was the loving wife of Robert P. Hinnershitz until his passing in 1982.

Born in Reading in 1930, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Rahn) Barnett. She was a textile worker for over 30 years, retiring from Rights Netting Mill in Hamburg in 1989. Marge loved hunting and fishing in her day, and enjoyed bingo, flea markets, and going on long drives.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son, Randy Hinnershitz, of Center Valley; and grandson, Jeffrey A. Hinnershitz, of Shoemakersville.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, June Ermold and Marima Koch.

According to her wishes, services for Margaret will be private.
