Margaret M. Hess

Margaret M. Hess, 82, of 1033 Fern Avenue, Kenhorst died of natural causes July 24th at 5:20 p.m. in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township where she had been a patient since May 23rd.

She was the widow of Elwood H. Hess (Died March 1978).

Born in Reading, Pa she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Alberta (Lesher) Mason.

Hess was employed as a packer for a number of year at Berkshire Knitting Mills and last worked for Vanity Fair for a number of years until her retirement.

Hess is survived by two brothers; Daniel B. Mason of San Antonio, Texas and William J. Mason of Alexandria, Virginia.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday July 30th at 1:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing will be from noon until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
