Margaret R. Glasgow

Margaret R. Glasgow, 65, passed away December 19, 2011 in her Flying Hills residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Robert M. Glasgow, whom she married 30 years ago, this November.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Arlington and Margaret Sally (Preston) Rushworth.

She was a 1963 graduate of Johnson City High School and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from University of Delaware.

Margaret worked as a school counselor for the Boyertown Area School District, retiring in July, 2011.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters: Jill P. (Thomas A.) Vizza, Harleysville and Jaimee E. (Alison Dowe) Glasgow, Chicago, IL. Also surviving are her sister, Mary Ann Driscoll and her three grandchildren: Joseph, Lydia and Julia.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing. A visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. in the church. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200 Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
