Margaret R. Fessler

Margaret R. Fessler, 87, passed away May 26, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her Cumru Township residence.

Born in Sinking Spring, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Rose M. (Weber) Flamish.

She was a graduate of Sinking Spring High School and Bryland Institute.

Margaret was a self employed beautician for over 30 years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sinking Spring.

Margaret was also active in the Sinking Spring Area Historical Society.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, M. Kathleen Hoffman, with whom she resided. Also surviving are her three grandchildren: Kristin Joy Light, Karen Hoffman, Russ, husband of Stacey Hoffman; her four great-grandsons: Sean, husband of Jenni Scotland, Colin Downey, Ryan Downey, Tyler Hoffman and her great-great-grandson, Ian Scotland.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
