Margaret F. Butzer

Margaret F. Butzer, 100, formerly of Shillington, died April 3, 2015, in Berks Heim.

Her husband, Joseph E. V. Butzer, died December 18, 1996.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Regina (Rohrbach) Goheen.

She was employed by Luden's, Inc., for 18 years, retiring in 1986.

Margaret was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She is survived by her son, Joseph W., husband of Helen Butzer, Reading; eleven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.

Margaret was predeceased by two sons, Barry L. and Bradley A. Butzer; and six siblings: Arlan Goheen, Albert Goheen, Virginia Dietrich, Alberta Lutz, Evelyn Devlin and Jane Sammons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, with burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.
