Margaret A. Crist

Margaret A. Crist, 86, formerly of Lenore Place, Whitfield, died Feb. 19 at 3:53 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Lebanon, where she had resided since April 1997.

Her husband, Jacob E. Crist, died Dec. 27, 1998.

Born in Hempstead, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ella (Gorman) O'Leary.

Crist was employed from 1936 to 1946 as a secretary by the office of the governor in New York State.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Surviving are two sons, Jonathan M., Hershey, Dauphin County, and David B., Ashburn, Va.

Other survivors include two grandchildren.

Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Olean, N.Y. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements
