Margaret A. Beam

Margaret "Meg" A. (Fosnocht) Beam, 69, West Lawn, died December 4, 2007 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

She was the wife of William R. Beam, Jr.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Florence M. Fosnocht, Shillington and the late M. Grant Fosnocht.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading and attended Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia.

Meg was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she was a member of the Women's Club and formerly an active member of the New Year's Eve Decorating Committee.

She is also survived by her son, Dr. William R., III, husband of Staci Beam, Chicago, IL; and her two daughters, Kimberly A. wife of Richard Conwell, Pittsburgh; and Kelly E. wife of John O'Shaughnessy, Schwenksville. Other survivors include her brother, Dr. John M. Fosnocht, Harrisburg, and her sister, Elizabeth A. wife of Thomas Dougherty, Wyomissing. Four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Andrew, Taylor and Ashley also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius R.C. Church 2810 St. Albans Drive Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
