Marcy E. Pinder

Marcy E. Pinder, 20, of Avon Avenue, Spring Township, died April 4 at 8:36 a.m. in her residence, after a long battle with Batten's disease.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Michael L. and Victoria T. (Pugh) Pinder, with whom she resided.

Pinder was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She was a 2001 graduate of Wilson High School.

Pinder was a writer for the Voices section of the Reading Eagle in 1999.

She is also survived by a brother, Michael W., at home, and her maternal grandmother, Mary D. Pugh, Pottsville.

She was predeceased by a sister, Mindy Pinder.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. John Baptist Church. Viewing Monday 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
