Con el corazón lleno de amor y gratitud por su vida, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Marco Rodríguez, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el pasado 12 de junio de 2025, en la paz de su hogar en Wernersville, Pennsylvania, a la edad de 92 años.

Marco nació el 18 de mayo de 1933, en el cálido pueblo de Bonao, República Dominicana, hijo de Blas Rodríguez y Ubaldina Tineo. Desde sus primeros años, fue conocido por su carácter noble, su alegría contagiosa y su inquebrantable compromiso con el trabajo y la familia. Con humildad, fe y determinación, construyó una vida marcada por el esfuerzo, la honestidad y el amor por los suyos.

Tuvo la dicha de compartir 72 años de matrimonio con su inseparable compañera y gran amor de su vida, Ana Franco de Rodríguez. Juntos formaron un hogar lleno de ternura, principios y unidad. Su historia de amor fue un testimonio de paciencia, respeto mutuo y entrega incondicional, un verdadero ejemplo para hijos, nietos y todos los que los conocieron. Como padre, Marco fue ejemplar: firme cuando era necesario, pero siempre con una mano amorosa y un corazón abierto. Deja un profundo legado en sus hijos Freddy Rodríguez, Juan Rodríguez, Evarista Fernández, José Rodríguez, Bernarda Fernández, Belkis Rosario, y Francisco Rodríguez quienes crecieron guiados por su sabiduría, sus consejos y, sobre todo, por su ejemplo.

También fue un abuelo y bisabuelo profundamente amoroso, siempre dispuesto a compartir una historia, una risa o un sabio consejo. Su rostro se iluminaba al hablar de sus 17 nietos y 12 bisnietos, a quienes adoraba con todo su ser. Marco era un hombre alegre, servicial y de fe profunda. Tenía el don de hacer sentir bienvenido a todo el que se acercara, y una capacidad inmensa de cuidar, escuchar y dar. Su hogar siempre fue un refugio de cariño, no solo para su familia, sino para todo aquel que lo necesitara. Era el primero en tender una mano, en ofrecer un café, en preguntar cómo podía ayudar.

Le sobreviven con amor sus hermanos: Julio, Rafael, Ramón, Digna, Aurora, Lucila e Italia, con quienes compartió memorias entrañables de una infancia llena de historias y valores que los unieron por toda la vida.

Hoy, su ausencia deja un vacío imposible de llenar, pero su luz continúa brillando en las vidas que tocó, en las enseñanzas que dejó, y en el inmenso amor que sembró a lo largo de sus años. Marco vivió una vida plena, rodeado de quienes lo amaban, y partió dejando un legado que vivirá por generaciones.

Descansa en paz, querido Marco. Fuiste, eres y siempre serás un ejemplo de lo que significa vivir con propósito, humildad y amor. Te recordaremos siempre con una sonrisa, con respeto profundo y con la certeza de que tu espíritu vivirá eternamente entre nosotros.

Para Honrar y Celebrar la Vida de Marcos Rodríguez se llevará a cabo un velatorio el día jueves 19 de junio de 2025 en Kuhn Funeral Homes, ubicado en 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611, desde las 4:00 p.m. hasta las 6:00 p.m., para que familiares y amigos puedan reunirse a recordar y rendir homenaje a su vida.

A continuación, se celebrará un servicio fúnebre a las 6:00 p.m., dirigido por el Monseñor Orsulak de la Iglesia San Pedro, quien ofrecerá palabras de consuelo y fe en honor a la vida y legado de Marcos. El día viernes 20 de junio, nos reuniremos nuevamente en Kuhn Funeral Homes de 9:30 a.m. a 10:40 a.m. A las 11:10 a.m. se llevará a cabo una procesión fúnebre hacia el cementerio Laureldale, ubicado en 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605, donde Marcos será sepultado a las 11:30 a.m., acompañado del amor y la presencia de su familia.

With hearts full of love and gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Marco Rodríguez, who entered into the presence of the Lord on June 12, 2025, peacefully at his home in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, at the age of 92.

Marco was born on May 18, 1933, in the warm town of Bonao, Dominican Republic, to Blas Rodríguez and Ubaldina Tineo. From an early age, he was known for his noble spirit, contagious joy, and unwavering dedication to work and family. With humility, faith, and determination, he built a life marked by hard work, honesty, and deep love for those around him.

He had the blessing of sharing 72 years of marriage with his beloved wife and life companion, Ana Franco de Rodríguez. Together they built a home full of tenderness, strong values, and unity. Their love story was a testament to patience, mutual respect, and unconditional devotion, a true example to their children, grandchildren, and all who knew them. As a father, Marco was exemplary: firm when needed, but always with a loving hand and an open heart. He leaves behind a profound legacy in his children: Freddy Rodríguez, Juan Rodríguez, Evarista Fernández, José Rodríguez, Bernarda Fernández, Belkis Rosario, and Francisco Rodríguez, who grew up guided by his wisdom, his words, and above all, his example.

He was also a deeply loving grandfather and great-grandfather, always ready to share a story, a laugh, or a wise piece of advice. His face lit up when he spoke of his 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, whom he cherished with all his heart. Marco was a joyful, generous, and deeply faithful man. He had the gift of making everyone feel welcome, with an immense capacity to care, listen, and give. His home was always a place of warmth, not just for his family, but for anyone in need. He was always the first to lend a hand, offer a cup of coffee, or ask how he could help.

He is lovingly survived by his siblings: Julio, Rafael, Ramón, Digna, Aurora, Lucila, and Italia, with whom he shared treasured memories of a childhood filled with stories and values that united them throughout their lives.

Today, his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his light continues to shine in the lives he touched, in the lessons he taught, and in the love, he sowed throughout his years. Marco lived a full life, surrounded by those who loved him, and departed leaving a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, dear Marco. You were, are, and will always be an example of what it means to live with purpose, humility, and love. We will remember you always, with a smile, with deep respect, and with the certainty that your spirit will live forever in our hearts.

To Honor and Celebrate the Life of Marcos Rodríguez a visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Kuhn Funeral Homes, located at 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., for family and friends to gather in remembrance and reflection. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m., led by Monsignor Orsulak of St. Peter's Church, who will offer words of comfort and faith in tribute to Marcos's life and legacy. We will gather again on Friday, June 20, at Kuhn Funeral Homes from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m., followed by a funeral procession at 11:10 a.m. to Laureldale Cemetery, located at 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605, where Marcos will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m., surrounded by the love and prayers of his family.
