Marcia Seifert

Marcia (Rounsaville) Seifert, 87, passed away on December 4, 2025, in her Lower Heidelberg residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of David E. Seifert, who passed away on December 29, 2019, after 60 years of marriage.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, to the late Clarence and Edna (Riker) Rounsaville, Marcia graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1955.

Marcia and David built a beautiful life together in the Reading area. For many years Marcia worked for John Wanamakers in Wyomissing and for Dr. Flowers Orthodontic Practice, from where she retired as the office manager. They attended West Lawn United Methodist Church.

A loving mother, Marcia served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, giving many young girls guidance and support. Marcia found joy in birdwatching, gardening, and baking. She cherished her beloved dogs, who brought boundless joy to her life.

Marcia's memory will be treasured by her daughters, Jill S. Tier, widow of Robert, of St. Augustine, FL, and Karen S. Borelli, wife of Sam, of Sinking Spring, and her grandchildren, Benjamin Tier, Leah Borelli, and Daniel Borelli, husband of Lauren. In addition to her husband and parents, Marcia was predeceased by her siblings, Richard and Dana Rounsaville and Shirley Sutton.
