Marcella J. Reinhart

Marcella J. Reinhart, 88, of the Highlands at Wyomissing, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the care of Reading Hospital.

Born in Shamokin to the late Joseph and Jean (Sosnoski) Zegarski, Marcy graduated from Albright College and later completed her Master's Degree at Penn State University.

A very driven and independent person, she was a dedicated school nurse practioner for many years. She retired from Reading School District as the Head Nurse.

Marcy was a wonderful mother to her two children, and she treasured being a grandmother to her twin grandchildren. She enjoyed travel, especially through Europe.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Jennifer Born of West Lawn and Christopher D. Reinhart, husband of Jade, of Reading; grandchildren, Ben and Emily Born; her sister, Christine Blevins; and her brother, Joseph Zegarski Jr.

A onetime scholarship in her memory is being set up with Reading School District for a nursing student.

Committal of her urn will be at the Memorial Prayer Garden at Alvernia. Edward J. Kuhn is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
