Magdalene R. Broderick

Magdalene R. Broderick, 90, formerly of Lackawanna Street, died July 5 at 7:20 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township, where she had resided since May 22, 1996.

Her husband, James J. Broderick, died May 18, 1962.

Born in Wyomissing, she was a daughter of the late Emil and Frieda (Hahn) Richter.

Broderick was employed for 15 years as a clerk by St. Joseph Hospital, retiring in 1978.

Surviving are a niece, Marlene Proger Hopkins, Whitfield, and a nephew, Dr. Barton Proger, King of Prussia, Montgomery County.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Entombment will be in the Wyomissing Hills Mausoleum.
