Mae F. Herb

Mae F. Herb, 87, of Oley, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Kutztown Manor where she was a resident.

She was predeceased by her husband, Chester M. Herb in November 2005.

Born in Oley, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Cora (Kercher) Howard.

She was a 1942 graduate of Oley Valley High School and attended St. John's United Church of Christ, Pricetown.

She is survived by her daughter: Marsha K., wife of Milton Manwiller of Oley and her son: Gary C. Herb of Mertztown. Also her Brohter: Arthur Howard and Sister: Jane, widow of Clifford Shade. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Julia, Slade, Molly, Marisa and Marlee and her great grandchildren: Kayla, Slade, II and Lea. She was predeceased by her siblings: Earl, Edwin, Edna, Paul, Lloyd, Elmer, Miriam, Harold, Walter and Reda.

Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 7:30 pm. Friends and family may view on Wednesday from 5:00-7:30 pm. A graveside service in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:00 am. Contributions may be made to St. John's U.C.C., 3713 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, Pa. 19522.
