Mae Focht

Mae (Heffner) Focht, 95, formerly of Fleetwood, died December 5, 2009 at 1:18 pm in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had been a resident for the last five years.

She was married in 1942 to Lester Clarence Focht, who died October 23, 2003.

Born in her Fleetwood residence on April 11, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Oscar H. and Sally (Beitler) Heffner.

Mae was a 1932 graduate of Fleetwood High School.

She was a life long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

Mae is survived by two children: Robert B., husband of Joan A. (Heffner) Focht of Allentown and Ann L. (Focht), wife of George M. Reichert of Blanford, Mass.

Other survivors include four grandchildren: Melissa, Mandi, Alison and Michelle and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Catherine.

Mae is also survived by a brother, Earl Heffner, of Topton.

She was predeceased by four siblings: Carl Heffner, David Heffner, Edna Young and Esta Kniss.

Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with Rev. Dr. Robert D. Machamer and Rev. Virginia M. Biniek officiating. There will be no public viewing. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Richmond Township.
