Madeline T. Calvaresi

Madeline T. "Mickey" Calvaresi, 84, a resident of Sacred Heart Villa, formerly of Reading, passed away August 24, 2013 in Seasons Hospice Center, Phoenixville.

Her husband, Daniel M. Calvaresi, Sr., died in August, 2006.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Annie (Innamarato) Mirabella.

She was a 1947 graduate of Reading High School.

Madeline worked for the Berkshire Knitting Mills until 1952.

She was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Reading.

Madeline was a warm, loving person who loved life. She enjoyed cooking and taking trips to the casino. Her husband and family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them and her many friends. She will always be in their hearts.

She is survived by her two daughters: Michele A., wife of Joseph Rutolo, Spring Twp., and Denise A., wife of Richard Kosak, Exeter Twp. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Dominic Calvaresi, Damian Calvaresi, Michael Rutolo, Brian Rutolo, Mark Kosak and Lisa Kosak-Stoddard and five great-grandchildren: DJ, Hannah, Colby, DaMarcus and Kira.

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel M. Calvaresi, Jr. on March 24, 2004 as well as two brothers and four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Villa Chapel, 51 Seminary Ave., Reading, PA 19605. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Villa at the address above.
