Madeline H. Gable

Madeline H. Gable, 86, of Cumru Twp., died November 7, 2009 in Reading Hospital ECU.

Her husband, Richard E. Gable, died July 26, 2003.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Lillian (Stump) Haag.

Madeline was a graduate of West Reading High School and Albright College.

She was an English teacher at Robesonia High School.

Madeline was a member of both, Wyomisssing U.C.C., Gouglersville and Lakewood U.C.C., St. Petersburg, FL.

She is survived by her three children, Jeanne Goodman, Shillington, Steven H., husband of Kathleen Gable, Sinking Spring and Julie L. Gable, St. Petersburg Beach, FL. There is one sister, Harriet Osborne, Baton Rouge, LA. Six grandchildren, Amy, Tiffany, Stephanie, Ben, Pete and Becca; and two great-grandchildren, Peter and Angelina also survive her.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Friends may call one hour before the service.
