Madalene Lawanda Faust

Madalene L. Faust (nee Hicks), age 91, formerly of Montrose Manor, passed away at Berks Heim on September 10, 2021.

Madalene was born on February 18, 1930, in Mount Union, PA to William and Hazel Hicks. One of four children, Madalene attended Mount Union High School and graduated as a member of the class of 1948. She married her loving husband, Charles F. Faust, on July 29 1950.

The couple moved to Shillington PA where Madalene worked as a secretary for the local district justice until her retirement.

Madalene enjoyed picture framing, and quilting, and had a love for growing roses.

Madalene is predeceased by her husband, Charles Faust, and her brother, Robert Hicks. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Stavarski (Kenneth) of Ephrata and Terry Ronco (Steven) of Reading; her granddaughter, Julie Stavarski; her brother Donald Hicks of Huntingdon; and her sister Betty Coons of Kalamazoo MI.
