Mabel W. Rhoad

Mabel W. (Spohn) Rhoad, 97, passed away on February 8, 2023, at the Mifflin Center.

She was the wife of the late Charles Rhoad.

Mabel was a daughter of the late Charles Spohn and Mary (Weller) Spohn.

Mabel loved to dance the jitterbug and listen to Lawrence Welk. She also enjoyed eating ring baloney and drinking an occasional glass of beer on a Saturday night.

She is survived by three nieces: Linda, wife of Stephen Steranko, Miriam Klemmer, and Mary Caruso. One nephew, Gary, husband of Kimberly Klemmer; and four grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, Scott, and Brenda also survive her.

Mabel was predeceased by her son, Harvey Spohn, and eleven brothers and sisters.

Service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Temple with burial to follow at Alsace Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from10:30 am to 11 am, the funeral home.
