Mabel C. Miller

Mabel C. Miller, 88, of 3640 Rosedale Avenue, Laureldale died September 29th at 8:45 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center where she had been since September 11th.

Born in Birdsboro, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Benneville and Alice (Manwiller) Miller.

She was a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ, 75 Church Lane Road, Reading, Pa 19606.

Miller worked a number of years for Continental Canning Company, Reading until her retirement in 1978.

She is survived by two sisters, Naomi K. (Miller) Wagner of Laureldale and Martha (Miller) Merkel of Cumru Township.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Wednesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Salem Shalters Cemetery, Alsace Township. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund at the above address.
