Mabel Agnes Loose

Mabel Agnes Loose, 94, of Muhlenberg Township, died September 24, 2014 in Hearthstone at Maidencreek, Maidencreek Township.

She was the wife of Robert Wayne Loose who died May 26, 1985.

Born December 4, 1919 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John Frederick and Catherine (Evans) Wagner.

Mabel, along with her husband, was the owner and operator of Wayne Loose & Son Printing, Muhlenberg Township for over 50 years. She was the President of the company from 1982 until its close in 1989.

She was a member of Grace (Alsace) United Church of Christ, Muhlenberg Township.

Mabel was a member of Tuckerton Nifty Fifty Club and enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to casinos.

Surviving are her three nieces: Nancy Hartline, Patricia Haas and Cheryl Buser.

Also surviving are her two great nieces and two great nephews.

Mabel was predeceased by her four sisters: Ida Neiman, Helen Eberly, Catherine Monk and Margaret DeTurk.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
