M. Joseph Solt

M. Joseph Solt Jr., 54, of Luzerne Street died of natural causes Jan. 11 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Dec. 25.

His wife, Helenjo (Werner) Solt, died July 10, 2001.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Marvin J. Sr. and Arlene (Lease) Solt.

Solt had been employed for 25 years by WLM Upholstery, Reading.

He was a 1967 graduate of Reading High School.

Solt is survived by three sons: Cory J., Muhlenberg Township; Casey J., Reading; and Joseph C., Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a sister, Patricia (Solt) Miller, in Florida; two stepsisters, Debra Solt and Tammy Solt, both of Reading; and two stepbrothers, Jeffrey M. Solt, Dover, and Richard W. Solt, Reading.

There is also one granddaughter.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Kissinger's Cemetery, Wyomissing.
