M. Janet Llewellyn

M. Janet (Weigand) Llewellyn, 83, of Caum Memorial Home, Reading, formerly of Coal Street, Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, and Fifth Street, Temple, died September 3rd at 10:55 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient for two weeks.

Her husband, George R. Llewellyn, died in 1982.

Born in Port Carbon, she was a daughter of the late Carl J. and Merlie M. (DeWald) Weigand.

Llewellyn had been employed for 17 years as a secretary by Reading Foundry and Supply, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Llewellyn is survived by two nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.
