Luz M. Roman

Luz M. Roman, 80, died Dec. 29 in her residence in West Reading.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Jose A. Roman and Teresa Romanlago.

Roman was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Surviving are two sons, Tito Rivera, Reading, and Jose Rivera, Paterson, N.J.; and three daughters: Noelia (Rivera) Maldonado and Luzelenia (Santos) Gomez, both of Reading; and Anna Teresa (Rivera) Mojica, West Reading, with whom she resided.

Other survivors include a sister, Clara (Roman) Prieto, Boston; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
