Lucy E. Vicari

Lucy E. Vicari, 81, of Temple, died February 7, 2015, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the wife of Elio D. Vicari, Sr., of 54 years.

Born in Temple, she was a daughter of the late Camillo and Rosa (Speca) Gaspari.

She was a 1951 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Lucy was the co-owner and secretary/treasurer of Vicari Mushrooms, Inc. from 1960 to 1996, and was very active in her community.

Her beliefs in the resurrection and paradise earth was strengthened after learning about the true God, Jehovah.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and caregiver of 12 yrs, Diane Vicari, with whom she resided; daughter Valerie Buller; and step-sons E. Dominic and Michael Vicari. There is one sister, Ilda, wife of Francesco Avanzato; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Gaspari.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
