Lucille B. Lamparella

Lucille B. Lamparella, 52, of Spring Township,after a lengthy battle with breast cancer, died October 24 at 6:53 p.m in Reading Hospital where she was admitted earlier in the day.

She was the wife of Michael G. Lamparella, Jr.

Born in Peekskill, NY she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Julia H. (Salvatore) Kennedy.

She was first employed by John Wanamaker's, Berkshire Mall for 10 years; she later was a self-employed interior designer.

Lamparella was a graduate of Holy Name High School in 1971.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael G., III and Nicholas E., both of Philadelphia and one daughter, Julie N. Lamparella, at home.

She is also survived by three brothers, Dr. E. Richard Kennedy and Ronald J. Kennedy both of Mohnton and David T. Kennedy, Bernville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
