ucia Hefele Suppan, of Spring Ridge, formerly of Lincoln Park, died on August 12, 2015. She was born May 1926 to the late Anna and Charles Hefele. Surviving is her beloved husband of 68 years Henry and their daughters: Elise Overcash (Stephen), Jane L. Suppan, Barbara Murphy (Jim) and Lori Meyer (Paul); 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lucia was predeceased by her brothers George, Charles, John and sister, Monica Bugbee. She is survived by brothers Joseph, Thomas and sister Francs Miltenberger.
Family was utmost important. Lucia was always ready to host an impromptu gathering of friends or family or "Grand gatherings", Thanksgiving and Christmas to be remembered as chaotic, joyful and sacred.
While raising her daughters, Lucia worked as a private secretary for Dr. Vladimir Kolton for 38 years. Whatever she did, she did well.
Love for her Church and awe of its eternal majesty and mystery were always in her heart.
Lucia shared boundless expressions of love for the "little ones" everyone's children. Truly they were her kindred spirit. The spirit now lovingly embraced by her "Heavenly Father". Eternal peace and joy are her rewards.
