Louise E. Wert-Zieber

Louise Elizabeth (McCoy) Wert-Zieber, 91, died September 11, 2012 in Village Gardens at Phoebe Berks, Wernersville.

She was predeceased by two husbands: Harry W. Wert, who died in 1963 and Richard Zieber, who died in 1988.

Born November 29, 1920 in Reading, PA she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Ruth M. (Stauffer) McCoy.

She attended Wilson High School and graduated from Reading High School.

Louise was employed a number of years with Dana Corporation, Reading.

She was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale.

Louise was a member of the Eastern Star and was an avid crocheter.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda L., widow of Paul R. Kemmerling of Muhlenberg Township and two step-daughters: Sandra, wife of Phillip Bixler III, of Cumru Township and Judith, wife of James Ermold of Mohnton.

Other survivors include two siblings: Anna E. McCoy of Muhlenberg Township and Renno J. McCoy of Florida.

There are also three grandchildren: Jason L. Kemmerling, Stacey L. Filippini and Matthew D. Kemmerling and six great grandchildren: Meaghan, Rachel, Emily, Vincent, Jackie and Felicia.

Services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
