Louise Josephine Sohn, 78 of Cumru Township, peacefully went to be with the Lord December 31, 2008, with relatives and friends at her side in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the widow of Harry Earl Sohn, Sr., who died August 12, 1982.

Born April 30, 1930 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe Pop Antonio and Theresa Nana (Guiarino) Bufano.

Louise was employed as a floor person for IZOD, Reading for 37 years, retiring in 2005.

She also was a waitress for many years working at Green Valley Country Club, Spring Township and Charcoal Chef, Exeter Township.

Louise was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Reading. She was also a member of the Union Local #93, International Ladies Garment Workers.

Surviving are three sons, Giuseppe A., husband of Lisa M. (Baver) Sohn of Wyomissing; Harry E. Sohn, Jr., fiance of Sharon A. Matthew of Lenhartsville and Keith A. Sohn of Cumru Township.

Other survivors include a brother, David Bufano of Hamburg and a sister, Josephine (Bufano) Rupp of Reading.

There is also one grandson, Christopher Paolini of Sinking Spring and one great-granddaughter, Hailey Schonour.

Additionally, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Louise was predeceased by two sisters Mariantonia (Bufano) "Tat" Arthur and Rosina (Bufano) Arthur.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 3rd and Franklin Sts., Reading. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Entombment will be private in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
