Louise Mable Klahr

Louise Mable Klahr, 80, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel Klahr, with whom she shared 25 years of marriage before his passing in 1990.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Ulrich) Sonon. For many years, Louise was a school bus driver for Berks County's I.U. until her retirement in 1992. She more recently had worked for Redner's. Louise loved to crochet and everyone in her family has a lovingly handmade blanket to remember her by. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo, but above all, she treasured time spent with her family.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Diane Arndt of Reading; sons Franklin Lantz, Jr of New Hampshire and Nevin Klahr of SInking Spring; brother, Charlie Sonon of Maryland; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Louise was preceded in death by daughters, Cindy Allen and Daphne Moyer; son, William Klahr; brothers, James "Butch" Sonon, Jr. and Elwood Sonon; and sister, Donna Sonon Ulrich.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Berks County Memorial Garden, 201 Evansville Rd Fleetwood, PA 19522.
