Louise I. Allen

Louise I. "Bobbi" Allen, 90, formerly of Mohrsville died in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, August 31st, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Two husbands, Arlan G. Yerger on November 22, 1967 and Bernard Allen preceded her in death on August 26, 1984. "Bobbi" was born in Sugar Hollow, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Ida L. (Via) James. She worked as a machine operator for W.R.Grace for 30 years retiring in 1998. Her daughter, Cheryl wife of Larry Bressler, Mohrsville and a son, Dennis husband of Kathleen Yerger, Leesport, survive Louise. Additional survivors include, four grandchildren; Michael and Brian Bressler, Kara L. Small, Brett A. Yerger and five great-grandchildren; Jason D., Kathryn L, and Isaac A. Bressler, Dylan P. Small and Helene E. Yerger. Two sisters also survive her, Mattie widow of Ralph Bender, Tilden Township and Evvie James, Mohrsville and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4 at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 To 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Birch Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
