Louise A. Sauer

Louise A. Sauer, 94, of Muhlenberg Township, died March 8, 2011 in ManorCare Laureldale.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Koch) Sauer.

She worked as a secretary for over 30 years for the City of Reading, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Reading.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Louise was predeceased by her six siblings: Kathryn Quinby, Margaret Keegan, Frances Brocklander, John Sauer, Sr., Robert Sauer and William Sauer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's R.C. Church, 151 N. 9th St., Reading, PA 19601. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
