Louis J. Spano

Louis J. Spano, 83, died January 13, 2015, in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Kenary) Spano.

Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Dominick C. and Bridget (Lazarus) Spano.

He was a graduate of Brooklyn Automotive High School.

Louis was a general manager for AMF- Fairlane. He was also owner of Danbury Bowl-o-Rama, Danbury, CT.

He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he was the devoted father of Patricia (Gary), Louis (Dorothy), Lorraine (Joseph), Marie (the late Kenneth), Dominick, Mark (Carolyn), Adrian, and Karen (Mike) and dear brother of William (Peggy) and Nicholas; and predeceased by sisters, Mary and Roseann (James); loving grandfather of 18 and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, 925 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601 . Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
