Louis M. Lovello

Louis Michael "Sonny" Lovello, 69, of 4910 7th Avenue, Temple, died June 29th at 2:00 pm in St. Joseph Hospital where he had been since June 16th.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Louis L. and Libera M. (Farella) Lovello.

He was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School.

Lovello was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

He worked as a clerk for U.G.I. Corporation, Muhlenberg Township for 35 years until his retirement in November 1991.

Lovello was an Army Veteran.

He was a volunteer for a number of years for Meals on Wheels of Berks County and the Muhlenberg Township Senior Citizens which met in Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Lovello is survived by a sister, Mary Ann (Lovello) wife of James A. Murray Sr., of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a nephew, James A. Murray Jr., and a niece, Gina M. Murray both of Muhlenberg Township.

He is also survived by a great nephew, James A. Murray III and a great niece, Grace T. Murray both of Muhlenberg Township.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Rev. Dennis Hartgen officiating. Viewings Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Wednesday morning 9:00 - 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
