Lorraine Connolly

Lorraine Connolly, 82, of Reading, passed away July 26, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Carlo D. and Jennie (Acchione) Cellucci.

She was the wife of Joseph Connolly.

Lorraine was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Mark, husband of Sylvia Connolly, Whitfield; Michael, husband of Lori Connolly, East Norriton; and Karen, wife of Scott Schoen, Sinking Spring; a brother, Carmen Thomas Cellucci, Panama. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 1, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 237 Franklin St, Reading, PA 19602. Burial will follow in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Philadelphia. A viewing will be Monday from 9-10 a.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests Mass cards in Lorraine's memory to be purchased in Holy Rosary's rectory. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
