Lori A. Weidenhammer, 45, of West Reading, died April 15, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
She was the wife of David A. Weidenhammer, Jr.
Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Rodney, husband of Sherry Orth, Shillington and Bonnie (Fisher), wife of William Gosch, Marco Island, Fl.
Lori was a 1983 graduate of Wyomissing High School and later attended Reading Area Community College, receiving certification as a Medical Assistant.
She was employed by the Valley Forge Flag Company, Wyomissing, in their customer service department.
Lori was a member of the 10 Points Elm Street Project, serving as chair for two years and then as a committee member.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her two sisters: Lisa A., wife of Daniel G. Geist, Spring Township and Suzanne, wife of Eric Szczepanski, Marco Island, Fl; her Aunt, Joanne, wife of Harold Zweizig, Jr., Hamburg, and her niece, Heather Geist, and nephew, Jacob Geist, whom she loved as her own children. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends as well as her pets. She will be missed dearly.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery. A viewing will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home at the above address to help defray the cost of the services.
