Lorenzo Rozzi

Lorenzo Rozzi, 71, of 3531 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale, was dead on arrival at the Reading Hospital following a two vehicle accident.

He was the husband of Lola Eurosia (Bufagna) Rozzi.

Born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Maria (DeSantis) Rozzi.

He worked in the Engineering Department as a land surveyor for Spotts, Stevens and McCoy of Wyomissing since 1958, last working Wednesday.

Rozzi was a life member of Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Rozzi is also survived by a son, Stephen L. husband of Raylene (Davis) Rozzi of Arlington, Virginia and three daughters, Helen M. (Rozzi) wife of John Sahi of Willington, Conn., Paola M. Rozzi of Washington, D.C., and Christine M. Rozzi of Leysin, Switzerland.

Other survivors include a sister, Luciana (Rozzi) wife of William Ochs of Fleetwood and two brothers, Dominic husband of Carrie Rozzi and John husband of Linda (Merlino) Rozzi, all of Laureldale.

There are also six grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Lucio and Camillo Rozzi.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewing Monday evening 6:00 - 8:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 501 Washington Street, Suite 801, Reading, Pa 19601.
