Lois Virginia Selig

Lois Virginia (Stephens) Selig, 89, of Lower Heidelberg Township, died November 4, 2012, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Richard A. Selig. They were married on April 29, 1972.

Born in Texas, she was the daughter of the late William and Effie (Behrle) Stephens.

Lois was employed for many years as a seamstress for Robert Krize, Laureldale, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of the Green Valley Country Club Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, card club, sewing and the casinos.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Janet A. Krick, Temple and Stephen P., husband of Melissa Yeager, Hummelstown; two step-children, James G., husband of Patricia Selig, Temple and Louise S., wife of Steven Reese, Bethel Park; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. West Reading. Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
