Lois A. Schlenner

Lois A. (Schlenk) Schlenner, 78, of Blandon, passed away surrounded by her family December 22, 2017.

She was born and raised in North Dakota and attended college for business. In North Dakota, Lois met the love of her life, William, who served in the US Air Force. Her family moved 10 times in 12 years for military duty, and Lois always made sure they were taken care of.

Lois had a career in Accounting and retired from the Whitehall-Coplay School District.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church in Reading.

Her kindness, patience and caring was extended to everyone she met. Lois loved flowers, crafts, bird watching, going to the casino and bowling.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by two daughters: Ann Moeller and husband Brian, Coplay; and Mary Matchette and husband Chris, Mertztown. She is also survived by sister, Elsie Bledsoe and husband Rodney, FL.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Schlenk.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 12 Noon in Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon in the funeral home.
