Lois L. Kheen

Lois L. Kheen, 76, of Reading, died April 9, 2007 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Richard L. Kheen.

Born in Cumberland MD, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Juanita (Fontaine) McCoy.

Lois was a waitress for the Peanut Bar for 25 years, where she was affectionately known as "MOM". Since 2003, she was a hostess at Judy's on Cherry, where she last worked Saturday.

She was an avid bingo player.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Herbert G. Moyer, Wernersville and James Kheen, Wyomissing; and five daughters, Amy (Moyer) Mitchell, Reading, Lois Ann (Moyer) Arms, Roanoke, VA, Jo (Moyer) Frey, Muhlenberg Twp., Beth A. (Moyer) Almanza, Leesport and Juanita (Kheen) Christman, Muhlenberg Twp. There are also six sisters, Viola (McCoy) Milligan, Muhlenberg Twp., Evelyn (McCoy) Rothenberger, Exeter Twp., L. Jean McCoy, Las Vegas, Juanita (McCoy) Koenig, Bellingham, WA, Peg McCoy, Muhlenberg Twp. and Linda (McCoy) Marone, Cape May, NJ; and one brother, Herbert McCoy, Turtletown, TN. Fifteen grandchildren, Evelyn, Joette, Richard, Edward, Suzie, Kimberly, Tanya, Wesley J., Katie, Toni Lee, Peter, Wesley, Michael, Zeke, and LeeLee also survive her. She was predeceased by one daughter, Juanita Moyer.

Memorial Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
